Synergetic is a talented group of seasoned professionals, offering live event production services including audio, lighting, and video systems, as well as staging and draping, to customers who are producing events. Our typical customer can commission us to work on a variety of shows, such as large concert productions, corporate fundraiser/galas and creative experiential events.

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager with 5+ years of experience in a fast-growing company with 50+ employees. This position will provide functional services in support of the day-to-day operations and development of the HR department. Candidate must be confident in developing and writing new company policies and knowledgeable of current HR compliance.

This individual will need to have a great personality and be able to work under tight timelines. Organizational skills will be key and an overall awesome attitude will make you do very well in this position. We need you to be able to bring your personality and experience to the job every single day. Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s or MBA degree a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resource Manager role
  • Be able to work in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude at all times, and be able to assist the team/department to complete goals
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Experience working with Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Ability to manage a high volume workload and willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to complete assignments
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a focus on results
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in developing & writing company policy
  • Ensure that all HR functions and operations, including payroll and recruitment are carried out in an effective and compliant manner
  • Provide front-line of HR support to employees and managers and provide administrative and operational support to General Manager
  • Act as point of contact and liaison across HR specialty functions (compensation, recruitment, learning & development, accounting and legal)
  • Conduct new-hire orientations, HR informational trainings, and Exit Interviews
  • Processing and maintaining HR files on each employee
  • Ensure compliance with all government labor law requirements, EEO compliance, OSHA, Workers Compensation, etc.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Payroll:

  • Assist in management of payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis
  • Keep track of vacation, sick, personal day, comp days off request.
  • Commission calculation and processing.
  • Manage overtime allowance payments in accordance with budget
  • Audit employee’s health insurance deductions to ensure compliance with the plan document
