When Pennsylvania began planning celebrations for America’s 250th birthday, it wasn’t just about putting on concerts. It was about creating memorable experiences across the Commonwealth that people would remember long after the final song.
Synergetic was honored to be selected to provide the audio systems and engineering support for the America250PA Commonwealth Concert Series, a five-city concert tour that traveled throughout Pennsylvania during May and June of 2026.
For our team, this wasn’t just another group of concerts.
It was an opportunity to be part of a once-in-a-generation celebration.

Five Cities. Five Concerts. One Team.
The concert series visited five communities across Pennsylvania:
- State College
- Erie
- Hershey
- Wilkes-Barre
- Pittsburgh
Each stop featured a nationally recognized artist, including:
- Cole Swindell with Gabby Barrett
- The Fray
- The Avett Brothers with Joan Jett
- Lady A with En Vogue
- Nelly with Third Eye Blind
And best of all: They were FREE!
We were especially excited to work with Nelly once again, having previously supported another successful tour with his team.
The America 250 PA team made sure each city had a great time with activations, entertainment and giveaways. They worked really hard to make these concerts be a success.

A System Built for Every Venue
Each location presented different challenges.
Some concerts took place outdoors on temporary festival stages, while others were hosted in existing venues. Attendance varied from city to city, requiring a system that was flexible, scalable, and capable of meeting both production expectations and artist riders.
Our team deployed a d&b audiotechnik system consisting of:
- 32 KSL loudspeakers
- 24 V-Series loudspeakers
- 16 SL-SUB subwoofers
- 4 V10P front fills
- 16 M4 stage monitors
- V8 and V-SUB side fills
- 32 D80 amplifiers
- Avid S6L-32D Front of House console
- DiGiCo SD12 Monitor console
The combination of the KSL and V-Series systems allowed us to deliver consistent coverage while remaining rider-friendly for every touring production. That meant one less thing for the executive team and artist production managers to worry about.

Consistency Matters
One of the goals we established before the first truck left the warehouse was simple: Keep the same people on every show whenever possible.
Consistency is one of the biggest advantages we can offer our clients.
By keeping the same six technicians throughout the series, the executive production team from America 250 PA didn’t have to spend every week introducing new crews, explaining expectations, or wondering whether the next city would operate differently than the last.
Each show became more efficient because the crew already understood the production, the schedule, and one another.
That consistency built confidence.

More Than Just Providing Speakers
Supplying an audio system is only one part of producing a successful concert.
Our team also worked directly with artist production managers to advance each performance, reviewing technical riders, stage plots, power requirements, monitor needs, and console preferences before trucks ever arrived onsite.
Handling those conversations allowed the America250PA executive team to focus on the countless other details involved in producing a statewide concert series.
Our goal was simple: Take work off our client’s plate—not add to it.

Preparation Makes the Difference
Touring productions leave very little room for surprises.
Fortunately, that’s exactly how we like to operate.
Our preparation translated into efficient load-ins, organized workdays, and timely load-outs, allowing both the touring artists and the event organizers to stay focused on delivering a great experience for concertgoers.

Available When It Matters
One of the things we hear most often from our clients is that they appreciate having someone available when they need them.
Large productions don’t operate Monday through Friday from 9 to 5.
Questions come up.
Schedules change.
Weather changes.
Artists change requirements.
Our team remained available throughout the planning process and during each week of the tour, making sure phone calls were answered, emails were returned quickly, and decisions could be made without unnecessary delays.
For the executive team managing five concerts across Pennsylvania, having a responsive production partner provided confidence throughout the series.

A Moment We’ll Never Forget
“This was an important series for us to be a part of and something I knew we wanted to do as soon as I heard about it. We were excited that the committee selected a local, boutique provider like Synergetic for these important concerts. It meant a lot to me and the whole company. This will be something we remember forever. What great locations, with some great artists.”

Proud to Be Part of America’s 250th
The final concert concluded on June 27, 2026, bringing an incredible statewide celebration to a close.
While we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing this become an annual tradition, we know these concerts were something special.
Being trusted to support a series celebrating America’s 250th birthday—and doing so across five cities with world-class artists—is something our team will be proud of for many years to come. We want to thank the America 250 PA team for choosing us to be a part of this series.
Congratulations to America 250 PA, the production team, the artists, and everyone who helped make this celebration such a success.
We were honored to play a small part in a very big moment for Pennsylvania.
