Back in February, one of our producers called with a different kind of opportunity.
“Are you guys available to go to Daytona to help Arby’s pull off a concert?”
Sure. No problem.
“…Inside an Arby’s.”
Not outside. Not in a parking lot.
Inside the restaurant.
And the artist?
Jimmy Eat World.

At first, it didn’t quite add up. A full concert… inside a fast-food restaurant? But that’s usually how the good ideas start—right on the edge of “there’s no way this works.”
So we got to work.
We had just two weeks to figure out how to design and deploy a full audio, lighting, and staging package—complete with FOH and monitor world—while still leaving enough space for guests to actually enjoy the show. Every decision mattered. Every inch mattered.
When the crew arrived in Daytona that Wednesday, it was all hands on deck. Over the next three days, the team transformed the space from a standard Arby’s dining room into a legitimate concert environment. Seats were removed to open up the footprint, giving us just enough room to build something that felt intentional—not forced.
This wasn’t a “throw gear in and hope for the best” situation. It required precision.
We leaned into smaller, more flexible equipment—using every compact, high-impact piece we had. Our Astera Titan Tubes ended up playing a huge role, especially overhead, where they helped define the space and create a look that felt far bigger than the room itself. Clean, controlled, and visually striking.
From an audio standpoint, the goal was simple: make it feel like a real show. Not a novelty. Not a gimmick. A concert.
And that’s exactly what it became.

The event was a huge success. Jimmy Eat World delivered, the crowd was fully in it, and what started as a “how is this even possible?” idea turned into something people won’t forget anytime soon.
What stood out most wasn’t just that we pulled it off in a short window—it’s that it actually felt right. It looked right. It sounded right. It worked.
That’s the difference when you take something unconventional and treat it with the same level of preparation and intention as any major show.
