D&B System Technician

Synergetic is currently accepting resumes for a full-time D&B system technician. We are a Philadelphia based audio/visual company that specializes in concerts and corporate events.

This individual should have knowledge of:

• D&B J Series, V Series, KSL
• D&B D80 and D40 amplifiers
• Array Cal
• R1
• Smaart

Our System Technician will be responsible for the following:

• Making sure the entire system is always QC’ed and ready for use
• Working in the shop for prep/de-prep
• Working on events for proper deployment, calibration and time alignment of all speakers.
• Helping with other audio components such as wireless, consoles, etc.

Other expectations:

• At least 7 year’s experience with D&B speaker systems
• Hours will vary with time of year
• Available for small tours
• OSHA 10 Certification

A typical week/month for this position:

• Prep a D&B rig for an upcoming show
• Be onsite for the show as the system tech (FOH and MON when needed)
• De-prep the D&B rig from show
• Prep/De-prep non D&B shows
• Work on events that may not be concert/corporate and may not have D&B deployment
• Available for tours
• Help maintain the audio department including: amps, consoles, wireless racks, etc.
• Weekly hours would range from 45-55 hours

Compensation/Benefits

• Salary starting at $125,000
• 15 PTO days
